Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain a robust, high-quality, and recoverable environment.
  • Develop, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and technical solutions.
  • Create custom integration components and integrate legacy systems using mid-server and other relevant technologies.
  • Document, maintain, and update policies, procedures, and controls for platform operations and software development life cycle, promoting agile development.
  • Assist ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution as needed.
  • Design and develop new ServiceNow applications and services.
  • Estimate release level of effort with the ServiceNow Business Analyst.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret Clearance.
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow development principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Expertise in Enterprise and/or IT Service Management.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow System Administration.
  • Experience in gathering requirements, database design schemas, and data modeling.
  • 10+ years of development experience, with 5+ years specifically in ServiceNow development.
  • Experience developing custom service portals and applications such as Incident, Problem, Change Management, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
  • Familiarity with process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.) and web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services).
  • Experience with LDAP Integration, ServiceNow Development APIs, and diagnosing performance-related issues.
